WordPress + Blocks = True

I write code! I understand the thing with builders, but they have never managed to convince me. I want the flexibility that comes with coding. Your design should not be limited by what can and cannot be done in a builder.

I cut your design into different blocks which are then built and assembled into a webpage with WordPress as the CMS. The magic of these blocks is that they can be reused across the entire site. A webpage should be able to grow, not be built into a corner or painted into one.

The Process – What's working with me like??

  • The First Meeting

    Here we start by reviewing the project together. How should it be built? Is WordPress a suitable path to take or are there better options? And other relevant, bigger questions.

  • Ball park estimate

    Here I can give a reasonably good estimate of where the project will end up, based on the information I have received from you.

  • The Deep-dive

    Here we dive into the project together and look at the details. Should things be animated? Are there things we haven’t thought of? What surprises can we expect along the way? Etc…

  • Project Management

    I set up a place for you in my project management system where you are invited. Here you will be able to see all the different blocks as individual ‘cards’ in the project. You will get to test the blocks, write comments, and move cards to the next appropriate step.

  • Environment

    I set up a development environment where you can follow the work and engage with the content.

  • Get to work

    Now the coding begins. Gradually, the blocks will appear in the development environment where you will see the progress of the project.

  • Approval

    Approval will take place in parallel with the project’s progress through the project management system. If everything goes according to plan, all project cards will be under ‘approved’ well before the launch date is reached.

  • Education

    Before launching, I will teach you (and if you want, your customers) how to manage the system. I will also create instructional videos that you can access to quickly find answers to any questions.

  • Launch

    Finally, I launch the project for you on the desired hosting. I connect the domain name to the hosting and ensure everything works. Here, I also implement some technical aspects such as caching, security, etc.

  • Hosting & support

    If needed, we can establish a support and hosting agreement where I handle updates, maintenance, and other ancillary services that can be time-consuming for the end customer.
